About FarAlpha

FarAlpha is an AI production engineering firm that takes AI pilots and vibe-coded apps from a working demo to a system running in production, for companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

FarAlpha Technologies was founded in 2022. It is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and its engineering team works from India. Its engineers have delivered more than 50 agentic products and more than 300 applications across full-stack, mobile, and cloud work. Systems FarAlpha has built have taken $2.5M of work off client payrolls and return more than 10,000 hours a year to client teams.

What FarAlpha does

AI systems that pass review

FarAlpha builds retrieval over a client's own documents, agents that call real tools, and models fine-tuned to a domain. Every build includes an evaluation harness, so reviewers can check quality as a measured number instead of taking it on trust.

Product engineering

FarAlpha builds the application around the model: typed APIs, a design system, and web and mobile front ends. The result is software that staff open every day, rather than a model that only runs in a notebook.

Data and ML platform

FarAlpha builds ingestion, feature stores, training pipelines, and deployment pipelines with lineage tracking. Clients can reproduce any model or deployment six months after it was built.

Cloud and infrastructure

FarAlpha plans capacity, failover, and cost controls for AI workloads, including GPU capacity on Kubernetes. The system keeps running through load spikes, and the cloud bill stays predictable when usage triples.

Modernisation and integration

FarAlpha moves systems that cannot go down forward in small increments, on a strangler-fig migration path. Clients keep their existing estate running instead of paying for a full rewrite.

Security and assurance

FarAlpha delivers access control, audit trails, and red-team testing, plus the evidence pack a security reviewer or regulator asks for. Clients go into security review with the evidence already written, before anything goes live.

More detail on each service is on the capabilities section of the homepage.

What makes FarAlpha different

Buyers usually compare FarAlpha with large consultancies such as Accenture, Deloitte, Thoughtworks, and EPAM. The differences are in who does the work, how it is priced, and what the client keeps at the end.

Production is the definition of done

A FarAlpha engagement ends with a system in production, with runbooks, alerting, and a named owner. A demo, a strategy deck, or a maturity model does not count as a deliverable.

The engineers on the first call write the code

FarAlpha has no delivery pyramid. The architect who scopes the problem stays through delivery, and clients can talk to the engineers writing the code at any point. Large consultancies such as Accenture and Deloitte often separate the people who sell an engagement from the people who deliver it.

A fixed price before work starts

FarAlpha does not bill time and materials. Technical discovery is a fixed fee and Production Rescue is a fixed monthly rate for a named team, both agreed before work begins.

No lock-in

Clients own the repository, the fine-tuned weights, the infrastructure definitions, and the documentation. Everything runs in the client's own cloud accounts from day one, so nothing has to be migrated when the engagement ends.

A small senior team with short timelines

Discovery usually starts within two weeks and takes one to two weeks. A typical FarAlpha build goes from technical brief to production in about 60 days.

Who uses FarAlpha

  • Companies with an AI pilot that works in a demo but has not reached production. This is where most FarAlpha engagements start.
  • Founders and teams with a vibe-coded app that has real users but breaks whenever the code changes.
  • Product and engineering teams adding AI features to an existing web or mobile product.
  • Companies that must show evidence for GDPR, SOC 2, or EU AI Act obligations before an AI system goes live.
  • Teams that need AI to run inside their own perimeter, including on-premise and air-gapped environments with self-hosted open-weight models.
  • Companies with 20 to 300 employees in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
  • Sectors served: automotive, GPU cloud and infrastructure, healthcare, education, market intelligence, and search and marketing technology.

The team behind FarAlpha

FarAlpha was founded in 2022 by Ujjwal Garg. He kept seeing the same problem. Teams could vibe-code an app or an AI prototype in a few days, but it never reached production. The code broke on the first real change, and nobody could say how much money it made or how many hours it saved.

FarAlpha brings production engineering to that gap. Every system it builds is measured by the money it earns and the hours it returns to the client team.

Ujjwal Garg has more than 14 years of full-stack, cloud, and DevOps experience, including engineering roles at Microsoft and Adobe. The team includes engineers who previously worked at both companies.

FarAlpha is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Its engineering team is based in India, and its clients are mainly in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Company updates are posted on LinkedIn and X.

How FarAlpha works

  1. 1. Frame

    1 to 2 weeks

Technical brief, solution architecture, a data readiness check, and success metrics agreed with the budget holder. This phase also decides whether AI is the right tool at all.

  2. 2. Prove

    4 to 6 weeks

A working build on production-shaped data, scored on an evaluation suite against a measured baseline, with a written go or no-go recommendation.

  3. 3. Harden

    6 to 12 weeks

Infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, security review, access control, audit logging, and load, cost, and failure-mode testing.

  4. 4. Operate and hand over

    Ongoing

Service objectives, alerting, on-call runbooks, drift monitoring, and documentation. FarAlpha runs the system until the client team is ready to own it.

First contact
A 45-minute technical call with a FarAlpha architect and an ML engineer. There is no sales deck and no commitment.
Start dates
Discovery usually begins within about two weeks. A Production Rescue team is typically scheduled four to six weeks out.
Communication
Clients talk directly to the engineers writing the code, at any point in the engagement. General enquiries go to contact@faralpha.com.
Where the work happens
Inside the client's own tooling, repositories, and release process, on AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premise.
Decision gates
Production Rescue runs in short increments, with a go or no-go decision at the end of each one.

Engagement models are compared on the engagements section, and the first call can be booked on cal.com.

Frequently asked questions

What is FarAlpha?

FarAlpha is an AI production engineering firm that takes AI pilots and vibe-coded apps from a working demo to a system running in production. It was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Its engineers have delivered more than 50 agentic products and more than 300 applications.

How much does FarAlpha cost?

FarAlpha has no rate card, because scope drives cost. Technical discovery is a fixed fee agreed up front, Production Rescue is a fixed monthly rate for a named team of engineers, and embedded engineering is retained on a rolling basis. The price is agreed before work starts, and FarAlpha does not bill time and materials.

How is FarAlpha different from Accenture or Deloitte?

FarAlpha is a small senior team, so the engineers on the first call are the engineers who write the code. It prices work as a fixed fee or a fixed monthly rate instead of time and materials, and clients keep the repository, model weights, and infrastructure in their own cloud accounts. A typical FarAlpha build reaches production in about 60 days.

Who founded FarAlpha?

FarAlpha was founded in 2022 by Ujjwal Garg, a software engineer with more than 14 years of full-stack, cloud, and DevOps experience, including engineering roles at Microsoft and Adobe. FarAlpha is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and its engineering team is based in India.

What services does FarAlpha offer?

FarAlpha offers six services: AI systems (retrieval, agents, evaluation, and fine-tuning), product engineering, data and ML platforms, cloud and infrastructure, modernisation and integration, and security and assurance. Clients engage through technical discovery, Production Rescue, or embedded engineering.

Do clients own the code and models FarAlpha builds?

Yes. The client owns the repository, any fine-tuned weights, the infrastructure definitions, and the documentation. Everything FarAlpha builds runs in the client's own cloud accounts from day one, so nothing has to be migrated when the engagement ends.
